Tutera Senior Living & Health Care is seeking a Maintenance Assistant for The Crossing at Tellico Village in Loudon, TN. You will support the maintenance team to keep facilities safe, clean, and in good repair for residents and staff.

Responsibilities include preventive tasks, addressing electrical, plumbing, and HVAC concerns, and assisting with daily upkeep. A high school diploma and prior maintenance experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior maintenance experience required.
• Experience in LTC/SNF/AL/MC settings preferred.
• Knowledge of painting, housekeeping, and maintenance procedures.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Professional image in appearance and behavior.
• Flexible, energetic personality with a passion for seniors.

What Will You Do in This Role?

As a Maintenance Assistant, you will perform the activities of the maintenance department to ensure environmental compliance in accordance with Federal, State and Local ordinance, regulations and building codes. You will assist in the maintenance of the facility to ensure a sanitary, attractive, and orderly condition; in good repair, free from hazards such as those caused by electrical, plumbing, ventilation, heating, and cooling systems.

Do You Have What It Takes?

• A fire and passion for working with seniors


• A flexible, fun, and energetic personality


• High school diploma, or equivalent, preferred


• Prior experience in maintenance in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting highly preferred


• Prior maintenance experience required


• Must possess knowledge of painting, housekeeping, and maintenance procedures


• Professional image in both appearance and behavior
