Tutera Senior Living & Health Care is seeking a Maintenance Director to lead and coordinate the maintenance department in a senior living community. You will ensure environmental compliance, safety, and a clean, well-maintained facility with reliable laundry services.

The role requires supervisory maintenance experience, knowledge of laundry and housekeeping procedures, and a commitment to high standards of safety and resident care.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of maintenance supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of commercial laundry, housekeeping, and maintenance procedures.
• High school diploma or equivalent or higher

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the maintenance department activities to ensure compliance with applicable codes and regulations.
• Maintain the community in a sanitary, attractive, and orderly condition, and ensure repairs and safety of electrical, plumbing, ventilation, heating and cooling systems.

Maintenance Director

What Will You Do in This Role?

As a Maintenance Director, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of the maintenance department to ensure environmental center compliance in accordance with Federal, State and Local ordinance, regulations and building codes. You will also ensure the community is maintained in a sanitary, attractive, and orderly condition; in good repair, free from hazards such as those caused by electrical, plumbing, ventilation, heating and cooling systems. This position is also responsible for the provision of quality laundry service.

Do You Have What It Takes?

• A fire and passion for working with seniors
• A flexible, fun, and energetic personality
• High school diploma, or equivalent, preferred
• Prior experience in maintenance in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting required
• Minimum of one year of prior experience of maintenance supervisory experience required
• Must possess knowledge of commercial laundry, housekeeping, and maintenance procedures
• Professional image in both appearance and behavior
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
