Tutera Senior Living & Health Care is hiring a Maintenance Assistant to join our team at Crystal Pines Rehabilitation & Health Care Center. You will assist in maintaining a safe, clean, and compliant facility, addressing electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general maintenance needs for a senior living environment.

The role requires strong communication, a professional image, and a passion for working with seniors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, or equivalent, preferred
• Prior maintenance experience in LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting highly preferred
• Prior maintenance experience required
• Knowledge of commercial laundry, housekeeping, and maintenance procedures
• Professional image in appearance and behavior
• Excellent written and oral communication skills

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance activities to ensure environmental compliance with federal, state and local codes.
• Maintain facility to be sanitary, attractive, and in good repair with minimal hazards.
• Support maintenance of electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems and building infrastructure.

What Will You Do in This Role?

As a Maintenance Assistant, you will perform the activities of the maintenance department to ensure environmental compliance in accordance with Federal, State and Local ordinance, regulations and building codes. You will assist in the maintenance of the facility to ensure a sanitary, attractive, and orderly condition; in good repair, free from hazards such as those caused by electrical, plumbing, ventilation, heating, and cooling systems.

Do You Have What It Takes?

• A fire and passion for working with seniors
• A flexible, fun, and energetic personality
• High school diploma, or equivalent, preferred
• Prior experience in maintenance in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting highly preferred
• Prior maintenance experience required
• Must possess knowledge of commercial laundry, housekeeping, and maintenance procedures
• Professional image in both appearance and behavior
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
