You will handle plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and routine repairs, respond to work orders, assist with room setups, seasonal tasks, and uphold infection control protocols.

Qualifications

• Experience in a skilled nursing facility or long term care.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform hands-on tasks.
• Basic maintenance knowledge of tools and building systems.
• Safety-focused and detail-oriented work habits.

Responsibilities

• Assist with general maintenance: plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry.
• Complete repairs and preventive maintenance on equipment and building systems.
• Respond to work orders and maintenance requests from staff.
• Help maintain clean and safe common areas, resident rooms, and outdoor spaces.
• Support seasonal tasks like snow removal and landscaping.
• Monitor supplies and tools, and report hazards or needed repairs.
• Help with room setups, furniture moves, and facility inspections.
