Job summary

NHS Management, LLC seeks a Maintenance Assistant to keep the facility grounds pristine and support general maintenance inside and outside the building. You will follow directions from the Maintenance Director and address work orders to help residents live comfortably.

The role requires hands-on skills in mechanics, carpentry, electrical and painting, with a positive attitude and the ability to work independently. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge and experience with mechanics, carpentry, electrical, painting etc. Minimum of one (1) year experience in related field
• Ability to interpret a variety of instruction furnished in written or oral diagram, or schedule form
• Ability to organize work schedule to meet work order demands
• Ability to take initiative and work independently
• Must have patience, tact, enthusiasm, and positive attitude toward the elderly and disabled
• Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English
• Must be capable of performing the ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS and PHYSICAL AND SENSORY REQUIREMENTS FOR ALL JOB FUNCTIONS
