Job summary

Livingston Health and Rehabilitation Center in Livingston, MT is hiring a Maintenance Assistant to support the upkeep and safety of our facility. We’re open to both full-time and part-time applicants and are looking for the right person to join our team!

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS include reading blueprints, maintaining and repairing motor controls, hydraulics, and pneumatics, and safely operating hand and power tools.

Qualifications

• General maintenance experience and ability to use basic hand tools.
• Able to assess physical plant problems and respond effectively.
• Basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing, HVAC, fire regulations, and codes.
• Experience with building operations and maintenance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and manuals.
• Maintain/repair motor controls, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Operate hand and power tools safely.
• Repair and/or replace electrical fixtures, motors, stoves, dryers, washers, medical equipment.
• Check and replace faulty circuits or breakers, and low voltage electrical equipment.
• Repair plaster and drywall.
• Maintain plumbing system and fixtures

We’re hiring! Livingston Health and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to support the overall upkeep and safety of our facility. We’re open to both full-time and part-time applicants – we’re simply looking for the right person to join our team!

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Read blueprints and manuals.
• Maintain/repair motor controls, programmable controls, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Operate hand and power tools safely.
• Repair and/or replace electrical fixtures, motors, stoves, dryers, washers, medical equipment.
• Check and replace faulty circuits or breakers, and low voltage electrical equipment
• Repair plaster and drywall.
• Maintain plumbing system and fixtures

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• Required: General experience in equipment maintenance; demonstrated skills in using proper basic hand tools and materials
• Required: Able to assess physical plant problems and respond to physical plant problems.
• Preferred: Basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing, copper, galvanized, and plastic pipe
• Preferred: Basic knowledge of HVAC
• Preferred: Working knowledge of building codes, fire regulations, and emergency plant operations.

EDUCATION, LICENSURE, AND EXPERIENCE:

• Preferred: Industry experience or similar general maintenance and repair background
