Job summary

Oxford Crossings in Langhorne, PA is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to keep our facility safe, functional, and welcoming for residents, visitors, and staff.

This full-time role runs 8 am–4:30 pm with an hourly 21–23 pay range, plus Daily Pay and a benefits package including health, vision, dental, and a 401(k) match.

You will perform routine rounds, basic plumbing/electrical repairs, review work orders, and support safe, quality care in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years of general maintenance experience (painting, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, HVAC).
• Skilled nursing facility experience preferred.
• Basic understanding of safety procedures and maintenance best practices.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily physical rounds throughout the facility to identify and address maintenance needs and safety concerns.
• Perform minor plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and cosmetic repairs to facility systems and equipment.
• Review maintenance request logs regularly and complete work orders accurately and promptly.
• Collaborate with staff to support improvements in resident living spaces and overall facility environment.
• Assist with furniture moves, equipment repairs, and general maintenance projects as assigned.
• Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues promptly and efficiently to support resident safety and comfort.
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety standards, facility policies, and regulatory requirements.
