Job summary

Holiday Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to join our team at a 170-bed Sub-Acute and Long-Term Care facility. The role offers full-time, on-site work with daily pay options and a pay rate of $20-$25 per hour, all inclusive.

Responsibilities include completing daily rounds, performing minor repairs, reviewing work orders, and collaborating with staff to maintain a safe, welcoming environment for residents and employees.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of general maintenance experience (painting, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, HVAC, or related trades).
• Skilled nursing facility experience preferred.
• Basic understanding of safety procedures and maintenance best practices.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues promptly and efficiently to support resident safety and comfort.
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety standards, facility policies, and regulatory requirements.
