Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in Kennebunk, ME is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to help keep our community safe, clean, and well‑functioning for residents, families, and colleagues. You’ll handle routine repairs, preventive tasks, and make‑ready prep under OSHA and safety standards.

Daily duties include completing work orders, basic plumbing and electrical fixes, assisting with painting, HVAC support, and inventory management, plus drills and emergency prep.

Qualifications

• Experience in general maintenance is helpful.
• Ability to read work orders and safety protocols.
• Willingness to operate a community vehicle as needed.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned maintenance tasks and work orders.
• Perform basic repairs (plumbing, electrical, appliances, fixtures).
• Assist with painting and refurbishing projects.
• Support HVAC, water, and mechanical system maintenance.
