Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to keep our communities safe, clean, and well-functioning for residents and staff. You will perform a variety of tasks including basic repairs, painting, HVAC and preventative maintenance, and inventory management.

You will also assist with suite make-ready, follow OSHA and safety standards, and participate in drills. This role offers benefits and opportunities to grow within a supportive team.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned maintenance tasks and work orders
• Perform basic repairs (plumbing, electrical, appliances, fixtures)
• Assist with painting and refurbishing projects
• Support HVAC, water, and mechanical system maintenance
• Perform preventative maintenance and safety checks
• Maintain tools, equipment, and repair inventory
• Support carpet and floor care as needed
• Assist with suite make-ready preparation
• Follow OSHA, fire safety, and infection control standards
• Participate in emergency preparedness and fire drills
• Drive community vehicle as assigned

Pay Range: 21.30 - 26.70
