Job summary

IU Health University Hospital in Indianapolis is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support preventative maintenance across various systems and equipment. This full-time role requires rotating weekends and holidays with a 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM shift.

You will perform general building maintenance, inspect and repair facilities, maintain grounds, collect and dispose of trash, and support related duties as assigned to ensure safe, clean hospital operations.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED.
• Requires one year experience in general maintenance, building construction or other relevant fields.
• Prefer prior hospital maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Assists with scheduled and non-scheduled preventative maintenance of various systems and equipment.
• Performs general building maintenance, inspection, repairs, and general maintenance of the grounds, lots and surroundings.
• Collects, recycles and removes trash from the property.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
