Job summary

Georges is seeking a Maintenance Apprentice to support the maintenance department in repairing and maintaining the company's machinery, equipment, and facilities in Cassville, MO. You will assist maintenance techs with installations, repairs, and preventative maintenance, use common hand, power, and industrial tools, and help keep the work area clean and organized.

A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic tools to perform the above tasks.
• Operational knowledge of common hand, power, and industrial tools.
• Preferred: experience in machine maintenance, building maintenance, preventative maintenance and/or basic electrical.

Responsibilities

• Assist the maintenance techs engaged in installations, repairs, and preventative maintenance in the assigned area.
• Dismantle machinery or equipment using common hand, power, and industrial tools to examine parts for defects and repair or replacement.
• Lock out / tag out certification.
• Complete daily maintenance paperwork for assigned work orders/requests and checklists.
• Maintain clean and organized work area.
• Special projects/duties as assigned by maintenance supervisor or manager.

  • Experience in machine maintenance (as helper), building maintenance, preventative maintenance and/or basic electrical
