Job summary

Raynor is seeking a maintenance technician for full-time, on-site work in Dixon, IL. You will perform hands-on trades tasks using hand and power tools, read blueprints, cut/thread pipe, and install electrical control systems.

Wiring and troubleshooting PLCs and diagrams are part of daily duties, with a focus on safety and reliability. The position offers hourly pay of $18.00–$29.91 with standard benefits and a strong commitment to core values and safety practices.

Qualifications

• Possess and use common hand and power tools.
• Able to weld, cut, braze with oxy/acetylene and Mig equipment.
• Read 2D blue prints and parts diagrams.
• Cut and thread pipe up to 2 inches.
• Specify and install EMT conduit and hardware.
• Install and troubleshoot electrical control systems with measurement tools and schematics.
• Basic knowledge of digital logic and numbering systems.
• Use software to access/modify electrical diagrams.
• Use PLC software for troubleshooting equipment.
• Physically capable of performing trade work with safety.

Some of the skills and qualifications required are as follows:

• Possesses and understands the use of common hand and power tools.

• Ability to read 2 D dimensional blue prints and parts diagrams.
• Ability to cut and thread pipe up to 2 inches in diameter.
• Ability to specify and to run EMT conduit and related hardware.
• Ability to install and troubleshoot electrical control systems through the use of appropriate measurement tools and reading electrical schematics.
• Possesses basic knowledge relating to digital logic and the numbering systems used.
• Ability to use current software to access and modify electrical diagrams.
• Ability to use current software for PLC’s and associated control modules to aid in troubleshooting the equipment and machinery.
• Must be physically able to perform the work of the trade with reasonable accommodations and without hazard to themselves or others.

Job Type: Full-time / Hourly

Pay: $18.00-$29.91 per hour
