Job summary

George's Inc. in Missouri is seeking a Maintenance Apprentice to assist the maintenance department with repairing and maintaining machinery, equipment, and facilities.

You will support technicians in installations, repairs, and preventative maintenance, perform dismantling with hand and power tools, and complete daily work orders and safety procedures. We value basic tool knowledge and a willingness to learn in a hands-on environment.

Qualifications

• Required: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic tools to perform the above tasks.
• Operational knowledge of common hand, power, and industrial tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist the maintenance techs engaged in installations, repairs, and preventative maintenance in the assigned area.
• Dismantle machinery or equipment using common hand, power, and industrial tools to examine parts for defects and repair or replacement.
• Lock out / tag out certification.
• Complete daily maintenance paperwork for assigned work orders/requests and checklists.
• Maintain clean and organized work area.
• Special projects/duties as assigned by maintenance supervisor or manager.
