Job summary

A-Line is seeking a mechanically inclined individual for an entry-level maintenance role in Waterloo, IA. No prior experience required; you’ll receive hands-on training from experienced mechanics and build a long-term career in maintenance.

On the 1st shift, Monday through Friday, 6:45 AM to 4:30 PM, you’ll assist with inspections and repairs on semi trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment, learn to use tools safely, and gain skills for future advancement.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; mechanically inclined and eager to learn.
• Requires a valid driver’s license.
• Physically able to perform duties in a maintenance role.

Responsibilities

• Assist with inspections and repairs on semi trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment.
• Learn to inspect industrial equipment and troubleshoot issues.
• Support building and grounds maintenance and stock parts.
