Job summary

The Administrative Assistant for the Maintenance Department at Jack Links Protein Snacks provides administrative, clerical, and coordination support to keep day-to-day maintenance operations running smoothly.

This role assists maintenance supervisors, technicians, and management by coordinating work orders, maintaining records, managing communications, and supporting scheduling, purchasing, and compliance documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (associate degree preferred).
• 2+ years of administrative experience; maintenance or manufacturing environment experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Experience with CMMS systems (e.g., Somax, SAP, MP2, Fiix, eMaint) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative, clerical, and organizational support for maintenance operations.
• Enter, track, and close work orders in CMMS; monitor preventive maintenance schedules.
• Schedule maintenance activities, coordinator meetings, and manage department communications.
• Assist with purchasing, vendor quotes, and inventory documentation.
• Support safety, compliance, and training documentation; maintain filing systems.
• Assist with general department tasks and cross‑functional communications.
