About the Role
Supports the plant by checking, inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, replacing and maintaining industrial manufacturing equipment. Night shift (6pm-6am) on a 2‑2‑3 rotating schedule. Pay rate is $45.80 per hour.
What You’ll Accomplish
- Perform periodic, scheduled inspections and checks of equipment to determine failures or issues and assess necessary corrections.
- Assemble and disassemble machines to make repairs, perform inspections, and replace components while maintaining safety and production goals.
- Troubleshoot equipment to identify root cause(s) and suggest appropriate follow‑up actions.
- Identify failed components and determine necessary replacement parts.
- Interact directly with production and other plant teammates in a professional manner.
- Use a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to receive work instructions, identify parts that belong to machines, and fully document work performed.
- Comply with all safety and environmental protocols related to operations.
- Locate spare parts in the storeroom and follow stock check‑out processes.
- Maintain a dedicated toolbox and shared maintenance tools and supplies in an organized manner so that materials can be accessed quickly and reliably.

Education
High school diploma required. Associates degree or 2+ years of vocational training preferred.
What We’re Looking For

- Certifications in mechanical or industrial fields (electrician, millwright, welding, etc.) preferred.
- Certified Maintenance and Reliability Technician (CMRT) preferred.
Required Work Experience
- Five or more years’ experience in an industrial environment as a maintenance employee performing preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Knowledge of and experience in the following areas:
- Mechanical: power transmission (chains, belts, gearboxes, bearings, brakes, couplings, etc.), lubrication (oils, greases, storage and handling, application, etc.), hydraulics & pneumatics (valves, actuators, compressors and pumps, piping and tubing, etc.).
- Electrical: DC circuits (relays, contactors, power supplies, etc.), AC circuits (120 V to 480 V) (motors, drives, transformers, etc.).
- Process Control: industrial automation (robotics, PID, machine control, etc.), PLCs & networking (communication, signals, I/O, LANs, etc.).
Additional Requirements
- Experience with maintenance technologies such as vibration analysis, thermography, ultrasound inspection, oil analysis, and precision alignment.
- Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved personal protection equipment (PPE), including respirators. Employees who are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
- Ability to work in an indoor, dusty, non‑air‑conditioned industrial manufacturing and warehouse environment with temperatures ranging from 65 to 90 °F in the general working area and hotter in certain areas.
- Ability to perform occasional outdoor activities in hot or adverse weather.Ability to work in a 24‑hour working environment with multiple shifts and varying schedules.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Ability to climb ladders, stairs and perform duties on an elevated platform.
- Ability to kneel, bend, reach and stoop.
- Ability to read, interpret and utilize drawings and diagrams (electrical, piping, P&ID).
- Ability to pass a mobile equipment test.
- Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time for training and data entry purposes.
- This position has the potential to manage and handle hazardous materials and hazardous waste.
