Tarantino Properties, Inc. seeks a Maintenance Assistant to uphold the care of Tuscany Park Apartments and its grounds, handling routine tasks and special work orders.

You will diagnose basic HVAC, plumbing, and electrical issues, perform make-ready tasks, and ensure unit readiness for new tenants while meeting safety standards.

The role supports emergency maintenance on an on-call rotation and requires dependable, proactive individuals with hands-on problem solving and strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• HVAC EPA certification preferred.
• Pool certification preferred.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC systems, furnaces, and plumbing.
• Experience with apartment maintenance, make-ready processes, and work order systems.

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance work orders in a timely and professional manner
• Perform apartment make-ready tasks, including repairs and unit preparation
• Diagnose and repair basic HVAC systems, furnaces, and air conditioning units
• Identify and fix plumbing issues such as leaks and minor pipe repairs
• Maintain pool equipment and ensure compliance with safety standards
• Assist with general property upkeep, including preventative maintenance
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests as part of an on-call rotation
• This position is ideal for someone who is dependable, proactive, and capable of handling a variety of maintenance tasks to keep the property running smoothly.
