Kenny Seng Construction, Inc. is seeking a skilled Mainline Excavator Operator to join our growing team in Provo, Utah. This full-time position offers a DOE compensation package plus a $500 hire-on bonus, with comprehensive benefits and a strong local pipeline of work.

As a leader in earthwork and utilities, we value integrity, teamwork, and excellence. You will be responsible for precise trenching, safety leadership on-site, and coordinating with the crew to meet project deadlines.

Qualifications

Experience in mainline excavation and pipe utilities.
OSHA Certified Competent Person for trenching and shoring.
Positive, team-oriented mindset and ability to follow supervisor directions.
Effective communication with coworkers and supervisors.
Must pass pre-employment and random drug testing (Drug-Free Workplace).

Responsibilities

Precision excavation of mainline waterline, sewer, storm drain and water pipe per plans.
Excavate around utilities with high precision while ensuring safety.
Understand trench depth, grade, compaction and pipeline installation procedures.
Act as OSHA Certified Competent Person for trenching and shoring; implement rigging and shoring practices.
Maintain knowledge of equipment maintenance and fleet reliability.
Read plans and keep crew organized to meet goals and deadlines.
