Qualifications

• High school diploma required; CDL preferred; must pass pre-employment and random drug/alcohol testing.
• Experience operating heavy equipment across multiple machine types.
• Ability to read blueprints, site plans, and grade stakes.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently (excavators, dozers, loaders, graders, backhoes, scrapers).
• Prepare sites by clearing, leveling, and distributing earth, gravel, and rock per specs.
• Use GPS-based machine control to maintain grade accuracy and standards.
• Perform pre-operation checks and routine maintenance to keep fleet reliable.
• Maintain safety and collaborate with crew to meet timelines and goals.
• Document equipment usage, hours, and maintenance activities.
