Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Precision excavation: excavate line and grade for mainline waterline, sewer, storm drain, and water pipe per plans.
• Utility safety: excavate around existing utilities with high precision.
• Technical implementation: trenches, grade, compaction, pothole procedures, pipeline installation.
• Safety leadership: act as OSHA Competent Person for trenching and shoring; implement rigging and shoring practices.
• Equipment care: maintain knowledge of equipment maintenance for fleet reliability.
• Project oversight: read plans and keep crew organized to meet goals and deadlines.

Position Responsibilities

• Precision Excavation:Excavate line and grade for mainline waterline, sewer, storm drain, and water pipe according to project plans.
• Utility Safety:Masterfully excavate around existing utilities with high precision.
• Technical Implementation:Understand and execute trench depth, grade compaction, pothole procedures, and pipeline installation.
• Safety Leadership:Act as the OSHA Certified Competent Person for trenching and shoring; implement rigging and shoring practices to ensure a safe environment for all.
• Equipment Care:Maintain thorough knowledge of equipment maintenance to ensure fleet reliability.
• Project Oversight:Read plans accurately and keep the crew organized and on task to meet goals and deadlines.
