Job summary

CTG is seeking a Mainframe/Systematics Developer to support COBOL/CICS applications and Systematics RM/GN components for a remote 12-month engagement. The role includes troubleshooting online and batch environments, supporting SDR/TBR/ICR/TCR components, and coordinating issue resolution with cross-functional teams.

The candidate will develop and review code, JCL, and job-control changes, while preparing implementation plans and technical docs.

Experience

• Demonstrated experience developing, maintaining, and supporting business-critical mainframe applications.
• Experience with COBOL/CICS development, DB2, JCL, and VSAM in online and batch environments.
• Hands-on experience analyzing and troubleshooting Systematics RM/GN applications.
• Experience with application testing, implementation planning, production issue resolution, and technical documentation.
• Ability to work independently, manage assigned deliverables, and collaborate effectively with technical teams.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred, or equivalent relevant professional experience.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $69.00 to $74.00/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
