CTG in Beaverton, OR seeks a Mainframe Application Developer to join a client-focused team for a 12-month engagement. You will develop, maintain, and support IBM Mainframe applications on z/OS, and ensure smooth operation of production systems.

Candidates bring hands-on mainframe experience (COBOL/PL/I/Assembler, JCL, VSAM, CICS) and strong English communication; degree preferred or equivalent. Beaverton location, on-site, with opportunities to grow in a global IT services company.

CTG is seeking to fill a Mainframe Application Developer position for our client.

Location: Beaverton, OR

Duration: 12 months

Duties:

• Develop, maintain, and support applications in an IBM Mainframe z/OS environment.

• Troubleshoot application issues and provide application, production, and z/OS environment support.

• Support mainframe databases and transaction processing systems.

Skills:

• IBM Mainframe z/OS, VSAM, JCL, REXX, TSO/ISPF, and mainframe tools.

• Proficiency in COBOL, PL/1, or Assembler.

• Experience with DB2 or IMS-DB and familiarity with CICS or IMS-DC.

Experience:

• Hands-on experience with mainframe application development, maintenance, troubleshooting, and support.

Education:

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
