Job summary

Triunity Software, Inc. in Dallas, TX is seeking a skilled Mainframe professional to join our team. You will work on mission-critical systems, developing and maintaining mainframe applications and batch processes on IBM z/OS.

Responsibilities include writing COBOL/JCL, performing system analysis, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver technical solutions. Strong DB2/VSAM/IMS experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in mainframe development and/or administration in an enterprise environment.
• Proficiency in COBOL, JCL, CICS, and z/OS operating systems.
• Experience with IBM mainframe tools such as ISPF, SDSF, and TSO/ISPF.
• Familiarity with DB2, VSAM, or IMS database platforms.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize mainframe applications and batch processing systems.
• Write and debug COBOL, JCL, and other mainframe-based programming languages.
• Perform system analysis, design, and implementation on IBM z/OS mainframe platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions.
• Monitor mainframe performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure system stability and uptime.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation of mainframe applications.
• Support data management tasks including DB2, VSAM, and IMS database operations.
