Job summary

Syncreon Consulting seeks a senior mainframe security specialist to lead z/OS security efforts. You will apply hands-on zSecure Audit experience and work with RACF, ACF2, and Top Secret to assess controls.

Collaborate with Mainframe Engineering and Information Security teams; produce clear documentation and engage clients. Strong knowledge of security controls and vulnerability remediation is essential.

Requires excellent communication and proficiency with Confluence and Visio.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of hands-on zSecure Audit experience.
• Strong z/OS Mainframe Security experience.
• Hands-on experience with RACF, ACF2, and Top Secret (TSS).
• Strong knowledge of REXX.
• Experience with IBM SyncSort and ICETOOL.
• Experience leveraging z/OS RACF STIG for hardening.
• Strong understanding of mainframe cybersecurity, security controls, and vulnerability remediation.
• Experience working with Mainframe Engineering and Information Security teams.
• Strong communication, documentation, and client-facing skills.
• Experience with Confluence and Visio preferred.
