Job summary

Veriipro is seeking an experienced Mainframe RACF Consultant to strengthen z/OS security across enterprise environments. You will administer RACF, troubleshoot incidents, and manage certificates to maintain compliance.

You will work with CICS, MQ, WebSphere, and UNIX System Services, and contribute to automation using REXX, CARLa, Assembler, SAS, or SQL. Strong problem-solving and independent work are essential.

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years of experience in Mainframe Security/RACF.
• Hands-on RACF administration and technical support.
• Strong understanding of z/OS security in enterprise mainframe environments.
• Hands-on experience with RACF Certificate Management.
• Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer RACF on z/OS and provide technical support.
• Troubleshoot and resolve RACF security incidents and complex issues.
• Manage RACF certificates, including configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Support RACF security across CICS, MQ, WebSphere, IP networks, and UNIX System Services.
• Develop or maintain automation/scripts using REXX, CARLa, Assembler, SAS, or SQL.
• Work with complex environments to identify root causes and implement solutions.
• Maintain security documentation and provide guidance to teams.
• Use Microsoft Excel for analysis, reporting, and security-related activities.
