Qualifications

• 5+ years software engineering concepts and IBM z-Series operations.
• Leadership of Operational and SRE teams in 24x7 environments.
• Understanding of infrastructure architecture including servers, storage, network, DB2, CICS, IMS, WebSphere.
• Experience with IBM z-Series replication technologies (CSM and GDPS).
• SSH security standards and transaction-based systems knowledge.
• Incident/Problem/Change management across global environments.
• Experience with ServiceNow workflow and ticket resolution.
• Ability to review AI-assisted recommendations and ensure resiliency and auditability.
• Familiarity with IBM z-Series hardware management and firmware upgrades.
• Programming or scripting basics in Python; automation experience.
• Knowledge of batch scheduling tools: CA-7, Control-M, Zeke; JCL familiarity.
• Netcool support in large-scale environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams delivering end-to-end infrastructure services for firm operations.
• Ensure stability and availability through policies and procedures.
• Monitor production environments and leverage observability tools.
• Escalate issues and drive service restoration with stakeholders.
• Lead incident, problem, and change management for systems.
