CACI International Inc. is seeking a Legacy Payroll Systems Analyst to analyze and document legacy mainframe payroll applications, COBOL programs, copybooks, and file structures.

You will craft data extraction approaches and support conversion teams across the federal payroll environment from within the United States. The role requires a Bachelor's degree with 7+ years of relevant mainframe experience, proficiency with JCL/DB2/CICS/Assembler, and strong documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 7 years of relevant experience.
• 7+ years analyzing legacy mainframe systems, including COBOL.
• Experience with copybook and record-structure analysis (fixed-width/positional data).
• Ability to write extraction programs against legacy sources.

Responsibilities

• Perform application and data analysis of legacy mainframe payroll systems.
• Analyze COBOL programs, copybooks and file structures to document behavior and data definitions.
• Document business rules and processing logic in legacy applications.
• Prepare technical documentation for conversion, integration and teams.
