Job summary

Orion Innovation is seeking a Sr Payroll Integration System Developer to analyze and document mainframe and payroll migrations procedures, author functional specifications, and collaborate with business owners for approvals through design and coding phases.

You will migrate software across environments, manage JCL, load modules, DBRMs and copybooks, and coordinate production updates with Tech Support to ensure timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree required in CS/Engineering or technical/business discipline.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
• Experience with mainframe migrations and COBOL environments.
• Familiarity with JCL, TSO/ISPF, and DB2.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and document mainframe and payroll migrations procedures.
• Author functional specifications; review with business owners for approval and with technical staff during transition to design and coding phases.
• Work with technical admins and support to research problems and implement solutions.
• Migrate software into all environments following agency procedures and standards; include planning, review, execution, and QA; migrate source code, object code, load modules, DBRMs and copybooks.
