Responsibilities

• Support 24x7 mainframe operations within a Command Center environment.
• Monitor systems, batch processes, and operational activities.
• Follow security, cybersecurity, and operational policies when using privileged Mainframe access.
• Assist with batch problem diagnosis, incident management, and issue escalation.
• Communicate remotely using Teams, Zoom, phone, and chat.
• Follow and improve technical procedures and operational documentation.
• Maintain accurate tickets and operational records.
• Work collaboratively with technology and business stakeholders.

Job Description

We are seeking an Entry-Level Mainframe Operator / Technician to join the Command Center of a large, 24x7 multinational banking organization where mainframe availability and operational reliability are mission-critical.

This role is ideal for someone looking to build a career in Mainframe Operations, Production Support, or IT Operations. Extensive training will be provided. The successful candidate will monitor and support mainframe operations, follow established procedures, manage privileged access responsibly, and communicate effectively with technical teams and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Support 24x7 mainframe operations within a Command Center environment.
• Monitor systems, batch processes, and operational activities.
• Follow security, cybersecurity, and operational policies when using privileged Mainframe access.
• Assist with batch problem diagnosis, incident management, and issue escalation.
