TSR Consulting is seeking an entry-level Mainframe Operator/ Technician to join a 24x7 Command Center in New York, NY. The role focuses on monitoring IBM Z mainframe systems, batch jobs and schedules, with extensive training provided. This is a hybrid on-site role in New York, NY.

You will perform basic troubleshooting, update ServiceNow tickets, and follow security and operational procedures. Ideal for early-career professionals looking to build skills in a large-scale banking environment.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in Mainframe/IT operations or related areas.
• Applicants with Mainframe System Administrator internships, apprenticeships, or pre-apprenticeships are encouraged.
• Basic knowledge of IBM Z, z/OS, JCL, and batch processing.
• Strong communication and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of MS Excel, Word and Outlook.
