Job summary

IBM in New York is seeking a technically curious intern to join the Z WSC Advisory team, focusing on z/OS communications server workstreams. You will work with enterprise-class systems, labs, and real client environments, gaining exposure to networking, routing, and security perspectives.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, conduct rigorous analyses, and help design workshops and educational materials for clients and partners within IBM Z initiatives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Pursuing or awarded Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, Eng, or related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Familiarity with AI productivity tools.
• Basic networking knowledge.
• Familiarity with enterprise OS environments.
• Proficiency in Python/Java/C.

Responsibilities

• Analyze client environments and craft tailored technical recommendations.
• Coordinate with development teams to fulfill client requests.
• Support account teams in network-specific engagements.
• Design and run z/OS communications server enablement workshops.
• Develop client education materials for IBM Z events.
