IBM in POUGHKEEPSIE is seeking an Entry Level Technical Enablement Specialist Intern 2027 to gain hands-on exposure to IBM Z and LinuxONE, enterprise systems, automation, and hybrid cloud. This role offers early responsibility and to build demos, labs, and client assets while working with senior teams.

The position welcomes candidates pursuing Bachelor’s or higher in IT, CS, or related fields, with a focus on communication, collaboration, and learning.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Flexible and self-starter to adapt to dynamic work environment.
• Understanding and experience using AI tools for productivity.
• Foundational understanding of operating systems, networking concepts, or databases.
• Familiarity with project management frameworks and tooling.
• Demonstrated curiosity and willingness to learn enterprise technology.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to IBM Z and LinuxONE capacity and performance studies.
• Infrastructure design, deployment, and readiness activities for IBM Z and LinuxONE tech, networking, and storage environments.
• Design and build partner-facing and client-ready assets: value proposition, demos, workshops, labs.
• Coordinate speaker prep, event materials, track attendance, and report on events.
• Provide scheduling and follow-up support for Z Skills program workstreams.
• Develop and execute joint business and success plans with IBM LinuxONE and IBM Z Ecosystem.
• Conduct meetings to understand partner priorities and growth plans.
• Develop and execute joint go-to-market plans with ISVs.
