Job summary

Broadcom is seeking an experienced Community Manager for its Mainframe Software Division to monitor and enhance online community programs. The role centers on driving user adoption, engagement, and retention while coordinating with product, education, support and documentation teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelors and 5+ years of related or Masters degree and 3+ years of related experience.
• Four or more years of experience in an online community engagement role.
• Advanced skills time management, facilitation, and organization.
• Experience in managing stakeholders.
• Knowledge of change management principles.
• Ability to work in a physical office environment at one of our listed locations.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of Broadcom's Mainframe online communities, including forum settings and access permissions.
• Monitor community discussions and moderation queue to ensure professional, customer-focused conversations.
• Oversee ideation platform to review and act on user-submitted functionality requests.
• Coordinate gated private validation spaces with Product Management for pre-release software.
• Collaborate with Education team to host training opportunities (virtual and in-person).
• Liaise between customers, Product Management, Engineering, Support, and Marketing to align initiatives.
• Analyze community metrics and health indicators like membership and activity.
• Build a customer recognition program highlighting active participants.
• Support in-person events for the Customer Engagement team as needed.
• Moderate Higher Logic spaces and drive gated validation communities; promote training paths and digital badges.
