Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience in mainframe development and support.
- Proficiency in COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, and CICS.
- Experience with SDLC, Agile methodologies, and release processes.
- Experience with IBM Mainframe environments such as z/OS and TSO/ISPF.
Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements and perform impact analysis.
- Design, develop, test and maintain Mainframe applications.
- Develop and enhance programs using COBOL, CICS, DB2, VSAM and JCL.
- Create and maintain batch jobs, procedures and utilities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues and defects.
- Participate in code reviews and enforce coding standards.
- Collaborate with BAs, QA teams and stakeholders during SDLC.
- Support deployments and post-production activities.
- Prepare technical designs and support documentation.
