CTG is seeking a Mainframe Application Developer – COBOL/DB2 for a 12-month contract in Piscataway, NJ. Responsibilities include developing, maintaining, and supporting mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, and DB2, along with production support and incident resolution.

Responsibilities

Duration: 12 months

Duties:

• Develop, maintain, and support mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, and DB2.
• Perform application enhancements, troubleshooting, debugging, testing, and production support.

• Support batch and online processing and collaborate with technical and business teams.

Experience:

• Experience developing and supporting enterprise mainframe applications.
• Strong COBOL, JCL, DB2, and SQL experience.
• Experience with production support, incident resolution, debugging, and batch/online processing.
• Experience with performance and batch optimization and mainframe application troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of RACF/mainframe security, API/REST enablement, application discovery, and dependency analysis is a plus.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
