LTIMindtree is seeking a Senior Specialist - System Management to design, develop, and maintain enterprise mainframe applications on IBM systems. The role requires strong expertise in COBOL, JCL, DB2, and CICS, with experience in incident resolution, production support, and application modernization.

The candidate will participate in Agile processes, perform reviews, and mentor junior staff, ensuring security and regulatory standards are met across projects.

Qualifications

• Proficient mainframe development experience with COBOL, JCL, DB2, and CICS.
• Experience in incident resolution, production support, and ITIL-aligned processes.
• Knowledge of mainframe utilities and testing/debugging tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance Mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, DB2, and CICS.
• Analyze requirements and translate into technical specs.
• Perform code reviews, unit and integration testing, deployments.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide support.
• Optimize performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Collaborate with analysts, QA, and stakeholders.

Job Summary

• We are seeking a skilled Mainframe Developer to design develop maintain and enhance enterprise applications running on IBM Mainframe platforms
• The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in COBOL JCL DB2 and CICS along with experience in incident resolution production support application modernization and Agile development methodologies
