Job summary

Qualifications

• BLS Provider certification within 30 days of hire date; accepted by AHA or ARC.
• Surgical Tech credential required: NCCT or NBSTSA prior to hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surgical operating suite with sterile drapes, solutions, and appropriate instruments.
• Hand required/requested instruments and supplies to surgeon during surgery.
• Assist with preparing, transporting, positioning and draping patients.
• Maintain instruments in an organized manner and monitor counts throughout procedures.

Education

High School diploma or equivalent

Associate's degree/Technical degree

4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience
