Job summary

At Sentry, join our Stevens Point, WI team as a Scanning and Distribution Tech responsible for mail handling, scanning, and distribution across buildings. You will file and store mail, operate mailroom equipment, and support related administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires data entry accuracy, basic mechanical skills, and the ability to lift 35 lb and push/pull up to 300 lb carts. Valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to accurately and efficiently enter and verify data on a PC.
• Previous data entry experience beneficial.
• Ability to understand postal scales and rates desired.
• Mechanical skills to aid in identification and resolution of equipment issues.
• Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy and great interpersonal skills.
• Ability to push/pull carts weighing 10–300 lbs.
• Lift and carry up to 35 pounds.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Sort, scan, and distribute mail; handle unidentified mail per procedures.
• File, store, retrieve, and destroy hard copy mail per rules.
• Use company vehicles to collect mail and move between Sentry buildings; maintain vans.
• Unpack orders, verify quantities, process outgoing shipments, select best shipping method.
