Job summary

Dow Jones is seeking an experienced mailroom operations professional to assist the Foreman in daily direction of the mailroom during the printing of Dow Jones publications at the Silver Springs, MD plant. You will help ensure timely production, quality mailroom processes, and adherence to dispatch deadlines using available technology.

• 3-4 years experience in Mailroom Operations.
• Customer-focused and cost-efficient, with timely results.
• Strong leadership, initiative and staff development skills.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to department objectives by ensuring effective processes and staffing.
• Assist Foreman/Woman in communicating goals and department objectives to staff.
• Provide ongoing staff training to ensure understanding of responsibilities and equipment operation in the mailroom.
• Be knowledgeable of dispatch schedules, sorting, bundling requirements, and subscription lists.
• Support development of a diverse work environment and compliance with laws and company policies.
• Maintain accurate operational and maintenance records.
