Job summary

Sun Print Solutions, a Sun Litho Company, in West Valley City, UT, is seeking a Mail Specialist to keep the mail production floor moving and ensure on-time shipping. The role supports feeders, tabbers, inkjets, inserters, and finishing equipment while upholding safety and quality standards.

You will inspect materials, verify USPS compliance, and update project status in electronic recordkeeping systems. A 3:30 pm–2 am schedule is typical, with overtime in busy seasons.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• 1+ year of experience in a print production environment.
• 1+ year working with Google Workspace.
• Safe pallet jack operation experience.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Ability to read small text and follow technical instructions.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate mailing equipment, including feeders, tabbers, inkjets, inserters, etc.
• Inspect printed materials throughout production to catch and resolve quality issues.
• Sort, tray, sack, and palletize mail; verify all outgoing pieces meet USPS regulations.
• Follow written job specifications precisely and update project status in electronic recordkeeping systems.
• Support equipment cleaning and minor maintenance to keep production running smoothly.
• Prioritize projects to meet scheduled completion dates and uphold safety standards.

About The Role

The Mail Specialist keeps our mail production floor moving. You’ll be collecting and gathering from mailing equipment—feeders, tabbers, inkjets, inserters, and finishing equipment—while supporting the machine operator and making sure every job ships accurately and on time. This role is essential to delivering the quality our clients count on.

What You’ll Do

• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Must be able to pass a background check.

Physical Requirements

This is an active, on‑floor role. You’ll be on your feet for extended periods and must be comfortable standing, walking, squatting, crouching, kneeling, bending, stretching, and reaching at various heights. Lifting and carrying up to 45 lbs is required. The role requires repetitive hand and wrist tasks, working near moving mechanical parts, and exposure to noise and vibration.
