Job summary

Gabriel Group is seeking 2nd Shift Mail Production Associates to operate and optimize high-speed mail processing equipment in a climate controlled facility. You will support the processing of thousands of mail pieces daily, ensuring accuracy and USPS compliance while learning multiple production areas.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor high-speed mail processing equipment.
• Set up, operate, and safely shut down production equipment.
• Sort, barcode, and prepare mail per USPS regulations and customer specs.
• Verify barcodes, postage, addresses, weights, and classifications for quality control.
• Troubleshoot minor machine issues and clear jams.
• Prepare mail trays, pallets, sacks, and containers for shipment.
• Weigh mail and apply correct postage using automated equipment.
• Produce shipping labels and mailing documentation.
• Complete production reports and maintain accurate records.
• Assist with hand fulfillment, packaging, and special mailing projects.

Join Our Production Team!

We're seeking 2nd Shift Mail Production Associates to join our mail production team. In this role, you'll help process thousands of pieces of mail each day using state-of-the-art mailing and sorting equipment. Whether you're operating high-speed machines, preparing customer mailings, or ensuring every piece meets USPS standards, you'll play an important role in delivering outstanding service to our customers.

No two days are exactly alike, and you'll have the opportunity to learn multiple production areas and expand your skills.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 4:00pm-12:30am
Climate controlled facility

What You'll Do

As a Mail Production Associate, you'll have an opportunity to work in a variety of production functions, including:

• Operate high-speed mail processing equipment, including OCR, Inkjet, Tabbing, Folding, Inserting, Metering, and Manifest machines.
• Set up, operate, monitor, and shut down production equipment safely and efficiently.
• Sort, barcode, and prepare mail according to USPS regulations and customer specifications.
• Monitor production quality by verifying barcodes, postage, addresses, weights, and mail classifications.
• Troubleshoot minor machine issues and safely clear paper jams.
• Prepare mail trays, pallets, sacks, and containers for shipment.
• Weigh mail pieces and apply the correct postage using automated mailing equipment.
• Produce shipping labels and mailing documentation.
• Complete production reports and maintain accurate records.
• Assist with hand fulfillment, packaging, and special mailing projects.
• Lift, move, and stage mail containers throughout the production process.
• Keep equipment and work areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Support teammates and help meet daily production goals.

Physical Requirements

This position requires the ability to:

• Stand, walk, bend, and stoop for much of the shift.
• Work in a fast-paced production environment while maintaining attention to detail.
