Job summary

Kelly Services is seeking a Mail Processing associate in Illinois. The role involves preparing outgoing metered mail, verifying dates and postage, and ensuring barcodes are correct. You will communicate errors and help fix issues such as bad barcodes and jams, with additional duties as assigned.

Shifts vary: 1st shift 6AM–2PM ($17.50), 2nd shift 2PM–10PM ($18.50), 3rd shift 10PM–6AM ($20.50). Overtime, reliability, and physical endurance are required.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of English to understand safety and other directions.
• Ability to work overtime including weekends/holidays with little or no advance notice.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk 80% of the time.

Pay $17.50

2nd Shift, Monday to Friday, 2PM to 10PM.

Pay $18.50

Monday to Friday, 10PM to 6AM, 3rd Shift.

Communicate errors and recognize bad barcodes found in the mail. Troubleshoot and remove mail piece jams from machine. Perform all additional duties as required. Requirements: A basic enough understanding of English to be able to understand and follow safety and other operational directions communicated in English, irrespective of their native language. The ability to work overtime which may include weekends, holidays and or a different shift with little or potential no advance notice. The ability to be dependable and reliable. Physical demands and abilities: The ability to lift up to 50 lbs. with or without accommodations. The ability to walk, stand, stoop, and bend 80% of the time with or without accommodations
