Washington University in St. Louis is seeking a Mail Services Carrier to deliver and sort campus mail and packages on a regular schedule.
The role may involve working in the mail room, dock, or on a meter, with attention to accuracy and timely handling of items for faculty, staff, and students. Responsibilities include rotating routes, ensuring signatures, tracking international mail, and assisting with peak-period student mail operations.

Responsible for obtaining, processing, sorting, and distributing mail and/or packages to the campus as well as providing customer service. Primary focus may be in a mail room, on a shipping/receiving dock, or on operating a meter.
Job Location/Working Conditions: High noise environment. Exposure to moving machinery. Dust, dirt, grease or other disagreeable elements. Ability to travel to various on- and off-campus locations. Physical Effort: Ability to lift and handle up to 70 lbs. Ability to stand and or bend for prolonged periods of time. Ability to walk from building to building along mail route, up and down stairs, inside and outside of buildings, in all types of weather, including heavy rain and snow, frequently loading, unloading, and carrying heavy loads of mail.
