Key Responsibilities of the Pharmacy Technician

• Work under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist to fill prescriptions and prepare IVs
• Collaborate with the Billing Supervisor to input data and obtain payment reimbursements
• Prepackage medication for dispensing in accordance with standards and regulations
• Assist the pharmacist in final checking of filled prescriptions and coordinate timely delivery
• Support inventory management, including receiving, rotating, and logging medications
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, ensuring equipment is calibrated and clean
