Job summary

InfoSend, Inc. is seeking a proactive Mail Inserter Maintenance Mechanic to maintain and repair mail inserting machines and related equipment, ensuring smooth, efficient operations.

This role supports timely delivery and operational excellence in a fast-paced environment, with a Monday–Friday 11:00am–7:30pm schedule. You will work on Bell & Howell, Pitney Bowes, Rival, and MPS machines, manage parts inventory, and provide backup as a Mail Operator during peak periods.

Qualifications

• 3 years’ experience running or repairing mailing equipment.
• 3 years’ experience in a transactional mail environment.
• Knowledge of Bell & Howell and Pitney Bowes machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
• Ability to perform mechanical adjustments/repairs on mailing equipment.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Must be flexible with hours including overtime and some Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and perform repair work on Bell & Howell, Pitney Bowes, Rival, and MPS machines and related mailing equipment.
• Manage inventory and order parts when the manager is not on site.
• Provide backup support as a Mail Operator during peak periods.
• Maintain parts inventory and respond to customer service calls.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on mailing equipment to keep them in optimal condition.
• Conduct regular inspections on third-party equipment and other areas of mailing department.
• Support other areas of the mailing department as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
