Job summary

USA Clinics Group is seeking a Mail Clerk at our Northbrook, IL corporate headquarters. You will handle, sort and distribute envelopes and packages, remaining calm and accurate while addressing urgent mail issues.

Role offers on-site work, with a competitive hourly rate of $19–$22, plus benefits. You will sign for mail, sort by department, keep receipts, and ensure mail reaches the correct recipients promptly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• Proven experience as Mail Clerk or Office Clerk preferred.
• Experience with mail sorting and postage meters is a plus.
• Good computer and communication skills.
• Well-organized with sharp attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Sign for incoming registered or certified mail.
• Sort mail by department, location or category (bills, notices, personal).
• Stamp and record date of receipt and sender's name.
• Keep records of incoming packages, including their weight, return address and description.
• Collect and prepare correspondence to be mailed (stamps, addresses).
• Correct and reforward misdirected mail.
• Arrange for express delivery when needed.
• Distribute mail to individuals or departments.
• Track mailroom supplies (stamps, envelopes, address labels).
• Additional duties as assigned.
