Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for our 34-bed Medical/Surgical unit in Exeter, NH. The day shift (7:00 am–7:30 pm) delivers patient care on medical, surgical and telemetry units with a focus on safety, quality, and compassionate care.

Requirements include NH RN license or compact license, BCLS (within 30 days), ACLS (within 1 year), and BSN strongly preferred. The role emphasizes evidence-based practice, teamwork, and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

NH RN license either in state or compact state.
BCLS certification required or within 30 days of hire.
ACLS certification required or within 1 year of hire.
Adheres to ANA standards of practice and nursing code of ethics; ensures safe medication administration and accurate documentation.

Responsibilities

Provide safe, timely, and accurate medication administration and transcription.
Perform comprehensive physical assessments and develop care plans.
Document care accurately in the patient record and follow policy.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to coordinate care and patient education.
Mentor new staff and support ongoing professional development.
Demonstrate strong clinical decision making and prioritization on the unit.
