Job summary

Memorial Regional Medical Center is seeking a Nursing Excellence and Outcomes Program Manager to lead operational, programmatic, and personnel activities related to Nursing Excellence, Magnet, and nurse‑sensitive outcomes. The role acts as culture and change strategist to advance professional nursing and integrate the Professional Practice Model into care delivery.

Qualifications

• RN license in state where working (or covered by compact).
• BSN required; MSN or related field required; DNP preferred.
• 5 years related experience with 2 years in leadership roles.
• Experience with Magnet or Pathways to Excellence programs required.
• ANCC Magnet/Pathways submission platform familiarity preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Magnet processes as onsite expert and liaison with ANCC.
• Lead gap analysis and action plans to attain Magnet or other recognition.
• Write, review, and edit documents for Magnet/credentialing bodies.
• Direct Magnet site visits with Nursing Excellence team support.
• Integrate Magnet standards into orientation, governance, and staff education.
• Oversee NDNQI data collection, reporting, and outcomes dissemination.
• Coordinate nurse satisfaction surveys and action plans with CNOs.
• Educate and develop staff related to Nursing Excellence and Magnet model.
• Promote shared governance and inter-professional collaboration.
• Support professional development and specialty certifications.
