Job summary

Northwell Health in New York seeks an experienced nursing leader to collaborate with Nursing leadership in attaining and maintaining Magnet designation, guiding multidisciplinary teams to execute the strategic plan.

You will develop systems for tracking, analyze data for baseline measures, identify gaps, and drive timely, compliant improvements while ensuring clear, consistent content across all written materials.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Nursing or related field required.
• Nursing degree must be in Nursing for Bachelors/Masters.
• Current License to practice as a Registered Nurse in NYS and/or CT required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and evaluate attainment of Magnet recertification and align strategic plan.
• Develop and maintain tracking/evaluation systems and baseline measurements.
• Identify gaps and collaborate with nursing leadership to eliminate deficiencies.
• Collaborate with leadership to improve regulatory compliance.
• Establish timelines for Magnet designation steps and ensure deadlines are met.
• Ensure data collection and analysis related to designation.
